In love with Stamping challenge evening

I just thought I would share with you the cards I made as part of this fun online evening. One challenge every hour certainly makes you get a move on! It was just perfect to get that mojo going after Christmas...

A Quick Card

I made a quick card for our team challenge. It was made using only the materials provided plus one other piece of card of my choice:

Stamp set: Fresh Cuts

Cardstock: Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Whisper White, (added by me)- really rust

Inkpad:Certainly Celery

Ribbon: So Saffron striped grosgrain

My goodies from the new mini have arrived and I have been playing! This is my first card using "Scene in a Garden". It is a birthday card for my Sister-In-Law and will be off in the post shortly. Excuse the poor photography!

I used:

Scene from a garden stamp set

Markers to watercolour: Old Olive,Always Artichoke,Really Rust,Close to Cocoa,Garden Green,choc chip, Real red

Ink pad: Chocolate Chip

Cardstock: Chocolate Chip,Really Rust, Garden Green - from the Earth Elements Range, Confetti White

Edges of the cardstock were distressed to give a rustic look.

Accessories: Linen Thread

Open for Business!

I am now officially an independent demonstrator for Stampin' Up! and am currently planning my first workshop. I received my starter kit and it was like Christmas, gorgeous goodies. Stampin' Up! Open Night

I went up to London in January to a Stampin' Up Open night and had a great time. We got to do 2 "make and takes" and see loads of wonderful goodies. Shelli Gardner the CEO came over from the US and did a demo and I came home not only with my two little projects but with loads of tips and ideas. I took the opportunity to have a photo with Shelli while she was in the UK.
